To be cast out, those who dream
with open eyes and hungry minds
To be cast out, those who dare
their hearts too full of hope
To be cast out, those who shout
passion infects them like sickness
To be cast out, those who create
who are they to change the world?
To be forgotten
lost
sealed away
hidden
and stomped upon like the start of a forest fire
To be cast out
To be cast out, those who love
blinded by such foolish feelings
To be cast out, those who have faith
how dare they see what others don’t
To be cast out, those who refuse to fear
they know not what awaits them
To be cast out, all who are different
their voices drowned out by gunfire
To be cast out, those who dream

I like this a lot. The subject matter and the words remind me of an old song by Rush, namely "Subdivisions":
Growing up, it all seems so one-sided,
Opinions are provided,
The future pre-decided,
Detached and sub-divided in the mass-production zone,
Nowhere is the dreamer or the misfit so alone.
Subdivisions—in the High School halls,
Subdivisions—in the shopping malls,
Conform or be cast out!
